Bike Services

Unbeknown to most, is that here at Cycles we offer a WIDE range of Services that can only rival our Bike selection in terms of diveristy. Providing Top Quality Brands to you makes us happy, but what makes us even more happy is helping you restore, repair, service, or upgrade any Bikes you may bring to us. Here's a list of the Services we provide:

  1. Bike Maintenance

    2. When a bike is brought in for a service both basic and specific checks are carried out. For example, brakes are adjusted and if necessary cables and brake shoes are replaced. The gears are also properly adjusted and the cables are checked for signs of excessive rust, indicating that cables might soon break.

    The front and rear derailleurs (which are essential to bikes with gears) are checked for proper alignment and high and low gear adjustment. The chain, the main drive component is checked for stretching and rust; if necessary it is replaced, otherwise it is lubricated. Other more complex checks are made along with the basic seat and handles adjustments and tightening.

  2. Bike Repair

    3. Frequently bikes are brought in for a specific problem to be fixed. For example if the brakes seem to be frozen the cables may need to be replaced.

    5. We would be happy to store your bikes in a clean and secure location for a charge of $15.00 per month. Let us know at least a day in advance and we will have the spaces ready for use.

  5. Bike Assembly

    6. Bike assembly can be completed in a fairly short time and a complete check-over is performed. Generally no parts are needed. Basic adjustments of the seat, handlebar, brakes, shifters, and front and rear derailleurs are included in the assembly cost.
